Less structure, more intelligence.

Clam started with a simple frustration: chat interfaces answered questions but never finished tasks. We wanted an assistant that could open a browser, read the docs, run the script, book the flight, draft the deck, and come back with the result — not with more suggestions.

So we built one. Clam plans, executes, and reports back. It uses real tools, remembers context, and asks for approval when it needs to. It is closer to a junior teammate than to a chatbot.

We're a small, distributed team headquartered in San Francisco. In 2026 we joined Meta to bring the same experience to businesses at every scale, while keeping the product independent and available directly.
